What my students say:

Your thoughts are inspiring Vanessa. At 74 yo I thought I knew my limitations and what I was capable of achieving but doing your course has opened up my mind to endless possibilities and I can’t wait to get started. Thank you!
Christine
Your training came at the exact right time for me learning/achieving how to get UNSTUCK in my art career. I have been looking for these skills, types of painting with tools that shaped and removed the paint. Love the ethereal, gentle way you showed how to fade in and out of all the different aspects and colors, softening without taking away the clarity.
Mandy
As soon as I saw your work I knew it was for me. I love the type of paintings you create and I can’t wait to get started. I have just started my Journey into painting so as a beginner I am eager to incorporate your style into my drawings/paintings.

Hi, I'm Vanessa!
I’m an artist working in traditional media, bringing visions to life that I hope will provoke a contemplative pause and intrigue in taking a longer and deeper look.
My works act as spirit guides that beckon the viewer’s thoughtful nature and sense of wonder, moving one to look inward and outward with compassion or from a new perspective, to take some time to be attentive to the curious, and perhaps develop a greater sense of unity with others and our surroundings. To me, the creative process is a safe space to wander, a companion in solitude. It’s where I can be vulnerable and find myself through a deeper connection and communication. I’m grateful when a broadening and reverberating is felt in what’s shared as well.
